The best way to learn is from other people.

I wanted to improve my marketing skills. The best people however, are not going to give up their time especially if I don’t know them. I thought it would be far easier if I had an excuse.

Meetup

There are lots of local meetups for developers but none for bootstrapping and marketing. I figured that it would be worth a shot.

Michael from RookieOven/AddJam was a great help in organising everything at the new co-working space.

Event

I enjoyed the first event. My friend Billy from BlindSpot gave a really interesting talk about how they launched their Kickstarter campaign. The feedback was positive and I’m looking forward to hosting more.
